Warren Buffett, through his company Berkshire Hathaway, has held a number of stocks for a long duration, demonstrating his belief in their enduring value. As of my last update inhas held a number of stocks for a long duration, demonstrating his belief in their enduring value. As of January 2022, some of the major holdings in Berkshire Hathaway's portfolio included:

1. Apple Inc. (AAPL): This tech giant became one of the most significant holdings in the portfolio. Buffett appreciates Apple's strong brand, cash flow, and the ecosystem that makes customers inclined to stick with its products.

2. Bank of America Corp (BAC): A major stake in the financial sector, representing Berkshire's bullishness on banks.

3. Coca-Cola Co (KO): Buffett has held Coca-Cola for many decades, often highlighting the company's powerful brand and global distribution.

4. American Express Co (AXP): Another longtime holding, Buffett values American Express for its brand and position in the financial sector.

5. The Kraft Heinz Co (KHC): This significant holding resulted from a merger which Berkshire played a part in.

6. Moody's Corporation (MCO): The credit rating agency has a dominant position in its sector, which attracted Buffett.

7. Berkshire Hathaway itself (BRK.A, BRK.B): Naturally, Buffett is heavily invested in his own company.

8. Wells Fargo & Co (WFC): Even though Berkshire has reduced its position in recent years, it has historically been a significant holding.

9. DaVita Inc. (DVA): A leading provider of dialysis services.

10. US Bancorp (USB): Reflecting Buffett's inclination towards the financial sector, US Bancorp is another major bank in Berkshire's portfolio.

It's important to recognize that the exact composition of Berkshire Hathaway's portfolio changes over time. Moreover, while Buffett makes the primary decisions, other investment managers like Ted Weschler and Todd Combs also manage portions of the portfolio.

Always remember that just because Berkshire Hathaway or Warren Buffett owns a stock, it doesn't mean it's suitable for all investors. Conduct personal research and/or consult with a financial advisor when considering investment decisions.
